Our surveyors were appointed to act on their behalf to survey the building, assess the lease, prepare schedule of dilapidations.
At present we are close to agreeing settlement for dilapidations work of £118,651.41 which is tied into a total package of costs being agreed for the client in the sum of £208,261.10 including outstanding service charge, rents etc
We read to lease to understand the provisions which involves a detailed examination of the lease, sub leases and any other associated documents such as the licence to alter. The contractual obligations must be understood before appraising any dilapidations claim.
