Description
Completed in 2017 we organised the external repair and refurbishment of this listed building which was originally the showroom and offices for Royal Doulton.
Client brief
To organise the external repair and redecoration of the Grade II Listed premises including replacement of defective terracotta.
Our role
We applied for and obtained listed building consent for the works. We acted as Contract Administrator, Quantity Surveyor and Principal Designer on the project. The repairs had to be properly specified to ensure the principles of the philosophy of building conservation were followed.
