Description
A former metal canning factory, this site now comprises offices. It is located on the Grand Union Canal.
Client brief
To organise the refurbishment of the common parts and entrance areas.
The intention was to introduce a glazed screen at the canal entrance to create a new internal atrium which could be used as a reception and internal communal break out space. The creation of an internal atrium required a fire engineered solution with the introduction of mechanical ventilation, heating and cooling.
Our role
To liaise with the design team and coordinate all aspects of the construction process to facilitate the delivery of the project on time and on budget. We worked closely with the designers Bluebottle and M&E consultants Leonard Peters Consulting Ltd to ensure their designs were implemented.
